The Epic Hardtail Comp offers a reality-altering combination of comfort and capability in a lighter-than-life package.

The battle of the grams has often resulted in harsh, twitchy rides at the expense of capability and versatility. Recognizing that the fastest bike is more than simply the lightest, Specialized has created an avant-garde hardtail that is ridiculously capable, mystifyingly comfortable, and all-around fast.

Specialized optimized every inch of the Epic Hardtail frame to achieve one of the lightest production hardtail frames in the world. The design prioritizes a commitment to creating a bike that is as capable as it is comfortable, featuring aggressive singletrack-inspired geometry, increased tyre clearance, and a frame engineered for increased vertical compliance. On the Epic Hardtail Comp, RockShox's long-beloved REBA fork handles suspension duties, while a full SRAM transmission groupset sets the benchmark for accessible performance.
